The Alice King Community School Foundation is currently seeking additional membership. Please make a tax-deductible donation to the foundation. We need your help to achieve our goal, to continue our superior educational program with safety precautions above standard, and to be sure every student has the supplies needed to learn.

About The Foundation

 

The Foundation’s Mission

 

The Foundation was formed to provide funding and other means of support to AKCS, to provide a school where students thrive academically and socially through a strong educational program based upon a structured curriculum supported by discipline and mutual respect. 

The initial and continuing focus of the Foundations is to support the educational pursuits of students by providing funding for programming, facility enhancements, and supplemental facility resources. Realizing that Alice King Community School and its families benefit from participation in the greater community the Foundation also endeavors to provide opportunities to enrich the quality of life in the surrounding region.

 

The Foundation will provide further support to the School through the issuance of the Bonds, the proceeds of which will be lent to the Foundation to finance the acquisition, renovation, improvement, and equipping of the Facility for lease or lease-purchase to the School.

 

The Board of Directors of the Foundation meets monthly, and more often when needed.  In addition to the Board of Directors, there are nine additional members who attend the monthly meetings.

For anyone who does NOT have access to a United Way campaign through his or her workplace, please use this link: https://donor.unitedeway.org/?campaign=Web11

 

  • Step one enter payment type, then click Continue
  • Step two on the next screen, scroll down to choose how to invest Your Donation and choose the Search for Agency radio button and click Continue.
  • On the next screen, scroll down and click Search for Agency. In the next screen, enter Acct Code NACCFD for Alice King Community School Foundation, then Search. When prompted, click Select.
  • On the next screen, click “I am done selecting agencies”. Donors will return to a Donation Distribution screen where they can allocate the gift by $ or percentage; the chosen designation will be at the top of the list.

 

The minimum donation is $24 and a disclaimer will appear during the process. For further information, please contact
