LOTTERY APPLICATIONS FOR 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

Lottery applications will be available Monday, February 3 on the school's website or at the school office. All completed applications must be returned in person to the school office at 8100 Mountain Rd NE. There will be an Open House for prospective families on Thursday, February 20 from 5:30-7:00pm. This will be an opportunity to speak with school staff and teachers, ask questions about programming, and tour the building. The lottery will be held Friday, March 6 at 9:30am. Prospective families are welcome to attend, but attendance does not affect lottery placement.

TOWN HALL MEETING FOR 2019-2020 BUDGET

Alice King Community School will be holding a town hall meeting on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss the budget as prepared and ask for any suggestions from the general community. The meeting will be held at the following address:

AKCS OPEN HOUSE - AUGUST 30

The 2018-2019 AKCS Open House is scheduled for Thursday, August 30. Parents and families are invited to visit their child's classroom between 5:30pm and 7pm. This is a great time to see what your child is doing in school and to get additional information about the school year. Families can also enjoy a meal at Freddy's on Central (just west of Eubank). PTA is sponsoring the Freddy's eat-out event as a fundraiser and more information will be sent out soon.
